Arterial stiffness assessed by aortic and brachial pulse wave velocity (PWV) and wave reflections assessed by heart rate-adjusted augmentation index [AIx(75)]surrogate

Hemodialysis acutely reduces wave reflections from the periphery but does not affect large artery stiffness (PWV) in ESRD patients.
