Problems with Permanent Atrial Pacing in the Fontan Patient

n=6 pediatric patients who underwent the Fontan procedure and required permanent atrial pacing for bradycardia and tachycardia (out of 25 followed Fontan patients). Underlying conditions included tricuspid atresia (n=3) and single ventricle (n=3). Indications were brady-tachy syndrome (n=4) and sick sinus syndrome (n=2).
