NSTEMI patients warrant close long-term surveillance regardless of CK status; leaves open whether targeted strategies improve outcomes versus STEMI.
While patients with NSTEMI without CK elevation have better 30-day outcomes, their long-term outcomes (31 days to 3 years) are as poor as those with NSTEMI with CK elevation and significantly worse than those with STEMI.
