Why the study?
Does combination antithrombotic therapy increase bleeding events compared to monotherapy in Japanese patients with cerebrovascular or cardiovascular diseases?
Does combination antithrombotic therapy increase bleeding events compared to monotherapy in Japanese patients with cerebrovascular or cardiovascular diseases?
Combination antithrombotic therapy increases bleeding risk compared to monotherapy, and strict blood pressure control (<130/81 mmHg) is crucial to prevent intracranial hemorrhage in these patients.
Supports caution with combination antithrombotics and BP targets; leaves open randomized confirmation of ICH thresholds.
