Previous communications from this laboratory have described the resistance to cathode rays of vegetative bacterial cells and various yeasts and fungi.The present report concerns studies on the resistance to cathode rays of spores from numerous identified and unidentified species of bacilli.The lethality response as affected by number of spores in an exposure and their physical state at the time of exposure was studied.
