Evidence is presented for neutron counting by the S(n,p)P32 endothermic reaction in ZnS(AG) powdered phosphors. Preliminary studies have been made on the possible application of this reaction in sulfur-containing crystals to neutron scintillation spectrometry above ∼2 Mev.
