This poster outlines the application of Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), a method originally introduced by Southwest Finland and provided by Adelphi, to support flood risk planning in the EMT region. It details the primary environmental, social and economic co-benefits of six categories of nature-based solutions (leaky dams, detention basins, river restoration, floodplain restoration and management, retention ponds, and regenerative agriculture), together with a breakdown of their implementation, maintenance and opportunity costs, as a basis for the forthcoming discounting, Net Present Value and sensitivity analysis phase.
