Pyroelectric properties at the transition between two rhombohedral ferroelectric phases in Pb(Ti, Zr, [Fe1/2Ta1/2]) O3 polycrystalline solid solutions are investigated as a function of composition. The thermal hysteresis, transition temperature, pyroelectric coefficient and change in the polarization between the two states are discussed in relation to the ternary phase diagram.
