The relative efficacy of thrombolytics in acute myocardial infarction is well known. We compared age, gender, weight, time from onset to treatment, infusion time, location of myocardial infarction, admission systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate of patients who were transferred to an acute care facility for coronary angiogram and further treatment (Group I) with those of patients who were sent home after thrombolytic therapy here (Group II).
