The calculation of transport in n-type GaAs with the aid of displaced Maxwellian distribution functions is generalized to include the effect of a transverse magnetic field. The influence on momentum relaxation, mobility, electron temperatures, population ratio, average drift velocity, and anisotropy of the dc conductivity is investigated. The dependence on magnetic field of the Gunn threshold field is found to be in qualitative agreement with measurement.
