Preoperative diagnoses included truncus arteriosus communis (n=19), tetralogy of Fallot (n=32), double outlet right ventricle (n=13), transposition of the great arteries (n=5), and two rare complex malformations.

Contegra bovine jugular vein graft (pulmonary valved conduit, size 12-22 mm)

Comparator

Homografts (n=52) and Tissuemed porcine xenografts (n=30)

Outcome

Survival, freedom from explantation, and conduit/valve degeneration at up to 27 months follow-uphard clinical

The Contegra bovine jugular vein graft appears to be a durable and effective alternative to homografts and porcine xenografts for pediatric RVOT reconstruction at early follow-up.
