Experimental study demonstrates a dual-side reconfigurable wireless power transfer system delivering four distinct constant voltage outputs, indicating versatile power delivery for industrial supply.
This article proposes a dual‐side reconfigurable multi‐voltage wireless power transfer (WPT) system that implements four different load‐independent constant voltage (CV) sources under zero phase angle (ZPA) operation. By properly controlling the MOSFETs in the transceiver‐side converters, the proposed system can be cleverly reconfigured into four S‐S‐S compensated three‐coil structures with CV function. Firstly, the overall architecture and control logic of the proposed system in four different modes are described and summarized in detail. Then, a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the CV characteristics and impedance characteristics of the proposed system operating in four modes is carried out. Finally, an experimental prototype with voltage levels of 50/70/80/90 V is built and the experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed system. Overall, the proposed system features simple structure, ease of control and high versatility, making it an ideal candidate for industrial power supply.
