This study investigates the impact of Public Procurement Reforms on Financial Management on Edo State Public Sector. Grounded in New Public Management Theory, the research explores how e-procurement, Due process mechanism, procurement planning and professionalization of procurement officers impacts on financial management with Edo State Public Sector. The descriptive survey design was used to gather data from selected representative 109 respondents by using a structured questionnaire. The instrument used a 4-point Likert scale ranging from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree to get the respondents’ views on the efficiency of the procurement reforms with respect to financial management in Edo State Public Sector. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the relationships between the independent variables; e-procurement, Due process mechanism, procurement planning and professionalization of procurement officers and the dependent variable, Financial Management. The results of the study indicate that all the aspects of procurement reform contribute financially to the financial management of the Public Sector in Edo state in a positive and significant manner. Edo State Government was advised to fully implement and institutionalize all e-procurement platform in all MDAs of the state and to phase out manual procurement processes. The State should also professionalize procurement process in all MDAs and equip them with professionally trained procurement officers, it is recommended.
