A 69 years old female had bean clinically CDnsldered as cardiac insufficiency, but autopsy findings revealed angiosarcoma of the heart situated in the right atrial wall. Light and electron microscopic findings of this case were reported, and histopathological and statistical studies were made on 46 cases of angiosarcoma of the heart. This reported case is the 5th in Japan and the eldest up to date.
