A bstract An instrument is described that has been found to be a valuable and precise tool for the measurement of viscosity in the annealing range of temperature. The outstanding feature of this apparatus is its high thermal inertia that makes it possible to maintain thermal equilibrium without auxiliary temperature‐control equipment.
