In the studies of induction heating systems two phenomena must be taken into account : Magnetic and Heat-Transfer problems are coupled, physical properties as ν (the reluctivity) and Cp (the thermal capacity) are strongly dependent on the temperature. In fact a very non linear time dependant problem must be solved. In such a case the choice of a "good" time step is difficult. The Prediction Correction method gives a good initial set of values of the unknown at each time step (so few Newton-Raphson iterations are necessary) and an automatic control of the time step according to chosen accuracy.
