Theoretical analysis reveals stable traversable cylindrical wormhole solutions supported by extended Chaplygin gas, indicating that charge and mass density regulate physical viability.
In this paper, we design cylindrical wormhole geometries fenced by an extended Chaplygin gas with neutral, partially charged, critically charged, and overcharged scenarios. We consider the charged spacetime and model locally anisotropic wormholes by using a dark energy profile. We test the obtained solutions against an extensive analysis concerning the potential function, and foresee the fate of the effective equation of state. Using a radial perturbation, we discuss its stability at the equilibrium throat radius of the wormhole (WH). Furthermore, we analyze the conservation laws, the signatures of the potential function arising from anisotropic matter sources to investigate the physical validity of the model. Through graphical analysis, some feasible traversable WH geometries are found under finely tuned exoticity regions controlled by mass and charge density.
