Determination of kinetic parameters from the steady‐state voltammograms at microring electrodes

Under steady‐state conditions, the i‐E equations at thin microring electrodes for reversible, quasi‐reversible, and irreversible systems are derived by using uniform surface concentration boundary condition. Using these results, the heteroger eous rate constants of several fast electron transfer reactions under steady‐state diffusion conditions are measured. The measured rates are in good agreement with existing data. As a result, all these efforts are successful in a simplified way compared to those required for relaxation techniques.
