A new implementation of the boundary integral equation method is described. It uses as unknowns the scalar magnetic potential and the normal flux density. We develop the integral equation and show that the use of the normal flux density replaces interface equations. The subdivision of the boundaries into elements (linear, quadratic and cubic) gives us the mean to solve the equation. Some numerical aspects are presented which outline the simplicity of the resultant program. The shield effect of a magnetic hollow cylinder is then computed as an illustration.
