Massive pericardial effusion was identified as the rare first clinical manifestation of mediastinal non-Hodgkin lymphoma in a 6-year-old girl presenting with dyspnea and chest pain.
Why the study?
Pericardial involvement is a serious manifestation of advanced malignancies, but pericardial involvement of lymphoma is extremely rare.
