A PubMed search was performed, using the keywords: "insulinoma", "neuroendocrine pancreatic tumors", "islet cell carcinoma", "malignant insulinoma", and limited to reports on human adults and English-language publications (except for French-language guidelines), including case reports.Due to its rarity, there is currently no dedicated guidelines for treatment strategy and follow-up specific to malignant insulinoma [1].Management is generally assimilated to that for well-differentiated functional pancreatic endocrine tumors [2].The hypoglycaemia-related morbidity and mortality of malignant insulinoma, however, requires strategic adaptation.
