Hemolymph trehalose levels from Heliothis virescens (F.) larvae parasitized by Campoletis sonorensis (Cameron) were somewhat greater than the controls for the 1st 4 days following parasitization. However, on days 5 and 6 hemolymph trehalose concentration from parasitized larvae was nearly 5 times greater than the control. Dry weight of the hemolymph was not affected by C. sonorensis. This constitutes another example of host-regulation by a parasite.
