Simulation study demonstrates enhanced computational speed and high image fidelity in ship-ocean radar modeling, highlighting an efficient framework for complex maritime ISAR imaging.
This paper proposes an improved bidirectional ray tracing algorithm based on BVH (Bounding Volume Hierarchy) acceleration for ISAR imaging of complex ocean scenes. The proposed method was employed to obtain the frequency-domain electromagnetic scattering characteristics of composite ocean scenes. Subsequently, the ISAR image of the target was generated by integrating the derived scattering data with a frequency-domain ISAR imaging algorithm. Comparative analyses with computational results from FEKO®, validate the image fidelity of the proposed approach. Numerical experiments further demonstrate its superior performance in both imaging accuracy and computational efficiency. The research indicates that this method significantly enhances computational efficiency, thereby providing an effective solution for ISAR imaging of complex ocean scenes.
