Simple analytical expressions for the diffracted-wave intensity, for the position and width of the Bragg peak, and for the wave fields in crystal are obtained in the case of asymmetric Bragg diffraction when the incident beam is almost parallel to the surface and suffers not only diffraction scattering, but also specular reflection. The theoretical treatment is based on renormalization of the coefficients of the conventional two-wave theory for X-ray diffraction. Both, coplanar (CG) and non-coplanar (NCG) diffraction geometries are considered.
