Amorphous ribbons of LiNbO 3 , PbTiO 3 , and (PbTiO 3 ) 0.9 (B 2 O 3 ) 0.1 were obtained by a roller quenching technique. These ribbons were examined by electron diffraction as well as by X-ray diffraction experiments, and were proved to be in the amorphous state. Their dielectric constant increased rapidly with increase of temperature.
