Poly(acrylamido‐4‐aminoantipyrinyl) homopolymer and polymer complexes of acrylamido‐4‐aminoantipyrinyl with some transition metal bromides and uranyl acetate have been prepared. The materials were characterized by elemental analysis, UV‐vis and infrared spectroscopy, and measurement of the magnetic moment. The thermal stabilities of the homopolymer and of the polymer complexes were studied by means of thermogravimetry. The activation energies of the degradation of the samples were calculated.
