This article discusses various fundamental philosophies of water reuse. The national problem of water supply is examined and suggestions are made for using water reuse with careful attention to protecting the consumer. The article addresses the problems of water supply needs and the inescapable fact that water reclamation will increasingly serve as the method for meeting water supply needs.
