Monomorphic VT in atypical Brugada may be underrecognized; single case leaves open questions on risk stratification.
Case Report (n=1)
This case highlights that monomorphic ventricular tachycardia can be a rare clinical presentation in patients with Brugada syndrome.
Allocca et al. (2008) conducted a case report in Brugada syndrome with monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (n=1). Electrical cardioversion was evaluated. A 20-year-old judoka with atypical Brugada syndrome presented with monomorphic ventricular tachycardia that was successfully restored to sinus rhythm following electrical cardioversion.
