Case Report (n=1)
Does intracoronary thrombolysis and primary PTCA improve outcomes in a pregnant patient with acute myocardial infarction?
Intracoronary thrombolysis and primary PTCA can be successfully and safely used to treat acute myocardial infarction in a high-risk pregnant patient.
Webber et al. (1997) conducted a case report in Acute myocardial infarction in pregnancy (n=1). Intracoronary thrombolysis and primary PTCA was evaluated on Clinical recovery and delivery outcome. Intracoronary thrombolysis and primary PTCA of an occluded LAD in a pregnant woman with acute myocardial infarction resulted in an uncomplicated recovery and delivery of a healthy child.
