Case Report (n=1)
Coronary spasm in Prinzmetal's angina can occur in markedly diseased and stenotic segments provided the contractile tissue of the tunica media is preserved.
Rizzon et al. (1978) conducted a case report in Prinzmetal's angina (n=1). Coronary arteriography and pathologic examination was evaluated on Angiographic and pathologic findings. Coronary spasm during a Prinzmetal's angina attack occurred in a markedly diseased and stenotic segment of the right coronary artery where the contractile tissue of the tunica media was preserved.
