TEVAR demonstrates 100% entry tear closure in uncomplicated TBAD, alongside false lumen thrombosis and shrinkage.
Why the study?
Does TEVAR aimed at entry closure improve aortic remodeling in patients with subacute and chronic type B aortic dissection?

Does TEVAR aimed at entry closure improve aortic remodeling in patients with subacute and chronic type B aortic dissection?
TEVAR for subacute and chronic type B aortic dissection successfully achieved entry closure and promoted favorable aortic remodeling, though complete false lumen thrombosis was not achieved and retrograde dissection remains a risk.
Should not yet change practice for subacute or chronic type B aortic dissection; hypothesis-generating for TEVAR remodeling in small case series.

Ishigaki et al. (2015) conducted an observational in Uncomplicated type B aortic dissection (n=10). Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) was evaluated on Closure of entry tear.
