EP study reveals spontaneous conversion of AVRT to AVNRT enabling successful dual pathway ablation.
Case Report (n=1)
This case highlights the rare phenomenon of spontaneous conversion from AVRT to AVNRT during an electrophysiology study, necessitating ablation of both pathways.

Clinicians should evaluate for multiple SVT mechanisms in refractory cases; leaves open prevalence and triggers of AVRT-AVNRT coexistence.
Zeljković et al. (2015) conducted a case report in Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (n=1). Electrophysiology study and ablation was evaluated on Spontaneous conversion from AVRT to AVNRT and successful ablation. An electrophysiology study in a 46-year-old patient revealed spontaneous conversion of orthodromic AVRT to typical AVNRT, leading to successful ablation of both pathways.
