Bahrami et al. (2019) conducted an RCT in Acute coronary syndrome (n=90). Foot reflexology massage vs. Routine care was evaluated on Anxiety score on the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) immediately after intervention (F(1.44)=19.11, p=0.001). Foot reflexology massage significantly reduced both anxiety (p=0.001) and depression (p=0.001) scores compared to routine care in female older adults hospitalized with acute coronary syndrome.
