Editorial review uncovers brain imaging and memory performance patterns in mild cognitive impairment, highlighting methods for tracking progression.
This section of this issue of International Psychogeriatrics is devoted to mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The section contains 8 original research articles, 5 of which are the focus of an editorial by Dr. Corinne Fischer [1], which is part of this section. My editorial will discuss the 3 remaining articles: two of these articles report magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in person with MCI [2,3] and the third examined the relationship of California Verbal Learning Task (CVLT) performance with progression of subjective cognitive decline (SCD) to MCI [4].
