Sánchez-Nadales et al. (2020) conducted a case report in Viral myocarditis with acute heart failure (n=1). Medical management and mechanical circulatory support was evaluated on Left ventricular ejection fraction recovery. A 31-year-old male with severe acute heart failure and cardiogenic shock due to adenovirus myocarditis experienced complete recovery of biventricular ejection fraction after four months of medical therapy and temporary mechanical circulatory support.
