Spatial modeling study reveals eight scenario-based temperature predictions across river networks, highlighting reproducible analytical workflows for freshwater ecosystem restoration.
This "software" resource contains the data, analysis, and visualization resources for the manuscript titled, "Exploring, restoring, and forecasting stream temperature resilience across river networks" accepted for publication in Freshwater Science. There are two files in the repository: "DataDirectoryAndDictionary.xlsx" - This spreadsheet file contains two sheet tabs "FileDirectory" holds the full project directory tree with short descriptions of each directory/file "DataDictionary" holds the descriptions and units for each variable in the input data files for the R project. "zenodo_FWS_MA_SSN.zip" - this is the entire R Project directory zipped into a zip file. the contents of this are described in the "DataDirectoryAndDictionary.xlsx" file, but generally, this zip file contains the following main directories "data" - contains all the input data used in the Rmd scripts. "figures" - folder (empty). Where figure files would be saved by the analysis scripts. Currently, code to save figures to files is commented out. "predictions" - holds the eight individual scenario temperature predictions (.RDS files) as well as two files that have all eight scenarios joined together in a csv and a geopackage file. "scripts" - contains the Rmd scripts used to complete the analysis as well as the knitted html files for each Rmd. "ssn_obj" - contains the SSN object developed to fit the SSN model in this study. "tables" - contains the analysis and summary tables for the study.
