Leadless pacemaker implantation in the anatomical LV proves successful in ccTGA with complete AV block.
Why the study?
Leadless pacemaker implantation for ccTGA is more complex than usual but can be a safe and effective treatment option.
Case Report (n=1)
No
Leadless pacemaker implantation in the anatomical left ventricle is a feasible and effective treatment option for patients with congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries who develop complete AV block.
May offer alternative pacing in complex ccTGA anatomy; leaves open durability and outcomes in larger cohorts.

A 2025 study conducted a case report in Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (ccTGA) with complete atrioventricular block (n=1). Leadless pacemaker (Micra AV) was evaluated on Successful implantation and stable pacing parameters. Leadless pacemaker implantation in the anatomical left ventricle was successfully and safely performed in a patient with congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries and complete AV block.
