For rs243865, CC, CT, and TT genotypes were present in 75.2%, 23.7%, and 1.1% of cases versus 69.2%, 28.9%, and 1.9% of controls, with the CT and TT genotypes linked to a 0.75-fold and 0.55-fold risk, respectively.
Genotype distributions for rs2285053 showed no differential distribution between cases and controls.
Allelic frequency analysis revealed the T allele at promoter positions -1306 and -735 conferred lower leukemia susceptibility than the C allele.
