Rogowski coils are widely used in semiconductor and power electronics development due to their galvanic isolation, non-intrusive installation, lack of magnetic saturation, and wide bandwidth. In this paper, we propose an ultra-thin, Flex-PCB based Rogowski coil featuring a shifted winding pattern to reduce interference from external magnetic fields. We present its operating principles and performance characteristics, and demonstrate its practical application by measuring the current sharing between parallel IGBTs inside an IGBT module.
