Psychotic disorders in older adults

This issue of International Psychogeriatrics contains five articles on psychotic disorders in older adults. Two articles address late onset and very late onset schizophrenia from electronic health records studies, one article describes a global survey that evaluates changes in bipolar disorder with age and across regions and countries, one article proposes the concept of pre-psychosis in Alzheimer’s disease, and one article examines mechanisms with MRI arterial spin labeling in Alzheimer’s disease with psychosis.
