Amid the transformation of electricity markets and the development of decentralized forms of generation, the role of electricity Micro-Markets as a fundamental instrument for improving the efficiency of energy resource and energy allocation and utilization is increasing, particularly in the context of enhancing the energy performance of organizational and technical market systems, such as multi-energy systems. The systems of organizational, operational and technological, and information and communication management of a Micro-Market, which collectively form a complexly organized local multi-electric power system (LMEPS), have become the subject of extensive scientific research. Unlike other studies, this research assumes that the key system-forming indicator in an LMEPS is the price of distributed energy resources – as primary energy carriers, such as local available conventional fossil fuels – coal, natural gas, hydropower, biogas and renewable energy sources (RESs), as well as the end products of their conversion into electrical and thermal energy. In other words, the pricing process becomes the principal tool for managing a distributed energy system amid uncertainty regarding the use of RESs in the Micro-Market. This circumstance necessitates the development and definition of conceptual principles for their subsequent application in establishing mechanisms for the operation and development of the pricing process management system in the form of Micro-Market Rules. Therefore, this article focuses on developing a system of conceptual principles for organizing the Micro-Market pricing process for practical application in building conceptual models of decentralized electricity markets, each of which becomes unique in terms of the composition of energy resources, including RESs, energy generation facilities producing electricity and heat, and types of energy consumers, in accordance with the requirements and recommendations established in the regulatory documents of the European Union (EU). The completeness of the system of principles and their regulatory formalization in EU regulatory documents are substantiated.
