The main results of the reports in the section "Solar Energy" were considered and summarized. Specialists from Ukraine, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic and the United States of America took part in the work of the section. A total of 39 reports were presented, most of which concerned issues of increasing the efficiency and ensuring the stability, reliability and uninterrupted operation of solar power plants. Several reports were devoted to research in solar thermal energy, in particular, technologies of solar passive thermal power.
