This article examines mechanisms for improving the workforce training system in response to changing labour market requirements. Particular attention is paid to aligning vocational education with employers' needs, strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and enterprises, developing practice-oriented competencies, and improving labour market information systems. Drawing on international experience, the study proposes a demand-oriented workforce training model incorporating skills anticipation, digitalisation, employer participation, dual education, and workplace-based learning. The effectiveness of workforce training is assessed using indicators such as graduate employment, the alignment between acquired qualifications and employment, employer satisfaction, and opportunities for lifelong professional development.
