Bello et al. (2021) conducted a case report in Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) (n=1). Mepolizumab was evaluated on Development of acute myocarditis and changes in peripheral T lymphocyte cytokine production. Mepolizumab therapy in a patient with EGPA was associated with the development of acute myocarditis and a rise in Th1/Th17-related cytokines, suggesting incomplete protection from vasculitic events.
