Better together in NPM1 -mutated AML

In this issue of Blood, Wang et al 1 report encouraging results from the phase 1 KOMET-007 trial in relapsed/refractory (R/R) NPM1-mutated (NPM1-m) acute myeloid leukemia (AML), showing that the oral menin inhibitor ziftomenib can be safely combined with azacitidine and venetoclax (AzaVen) with promising clinical activity.
