In the environment of international higher education, many universities have transformed their educational programs for adapting to the digital turn. Recently, traditional architectural education has also adopted digital teaching methods, especially in the emergent environment of the Covid-19. For planning the digitalization of architectural education, the article intends to query how architectural representation methods could be taught to students. The proposed model, a combination of digital and analog drawing methods, will contribute to the training of architects by giving them the ability to think by drawing in the digital age. The impact of both drawing methods was investigated by conducting quantitative research in two student groups with the help of a questionnaire. The questionnaire includes close-ended questions to evaluate the advantages and drawbacks of the drawing tool over three main categories: course content, tools, and work environment. This research examines the architectural representation course learning methods that are currently applied in a university and evaluates the convenience of digital and analog drawing methods on the learning outcomes of the course. This research presents the merits of analog and digital drawing methods considering the course contents, learning tools and work environment, and constitutes a knowledge base for the hybrid curriculum.
