Among diverse electrolyte systems, poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF)-based polymer electrolytes retaining residual solvents have drawn considerable research interest due to their compatibility with room-temperature battery operation. Nevertheless, the practical implementation is constrained by an intrinsically porous morphology and insufficient ionic conductivity. Here, we introduce a phase engineering strategy that disrupts the crystallographic symmetry of PVDF chains through the incorporation of NbSe 2 nanosheets, culminating in the formation of a compact composite electrolyte. This electrolyte, characterized by a high relative dielectric constant, optimizes solvation sheath structures to facilitate reduced activation energy for ion migration. Additionally, an in situ interfacial reaction between NbSe 2 and lithium generates Li 2 Se within the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI), effectively mitigating interfacial kinetic barriers. The fabricated solid-state Li||Li cells exhibit stable cycling behavior, while Li||LiNi 0.8 Co 0.1 Mn 0.1 O 2 full cells demonstrate superior practical performance under high-rate conditions (3C).
