The implementation of interactive digital media based on the Deep Learning pedagogical approach (Fullan et al., 2018) in IPAS learning at primary schools is an innovative effort to create learning experiences that are mindful (awareness), meaningful (relevance) and joyful (enjoyment). This descriptive qualitative study, employing a single-case study design, aims to describe the planning, implementation, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of Canva Education and interactive Google Slides to Year 4 pupils at SDN 118394 Aek Batu. Data were collected through structured observation over eight sessions (16 teaching periods), semi-structured interviews and documentation, and were analysed using the Miles, Huberman and Saldana model. The research findings indicate that, of the 32 pupils, 27 (84.4 per cent) demonstrated increased active participation, 25 (78.1 per cent) exhibited meaningful learning through their ability to relate the material to real-life contexts, and 30 (93.8 per cent) displayed enthusiasm and enjoyment during the learning activities. Systematic planning through five stages and the teacher’s role as an active facilitator were key factors in the success, whilst limitations in technological infrastructure and gaps in pupils’ digital literacy were the main obstacles.
