This study aims to determine the effect of using game-based interactive media on student learning outcomes and the improvement of conceptual understanding regarding fractions and decimals among fifth-grade students at SDN Banyuajuh 5 Kamal. The primary issue prompting this research is the low level of student learning outcomes and conceptual understanding of fractions and decimals, attributed to conventional teaching methods that lack engaging and interactive learning media. This is a quantitative study. The research population comprises all fifth-grade students at SDN Banyuajuh 5 Kamal during the 2025/2026 academic year; the sample consists of an experimental class using game-based interactive media and a control class using conventional instruction. Data collection was conducted through learning outcome tests and conceptual understanding tests. Data analysis employed the Independent Sample T-Test using SPSS version 25 to identify differences in the mean learning outcomes and understanding between the two groups. The results indicate a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. Students taught using game-based interactive media achieved higher average learning outcomes and conceptual understanding scores compared to those taught using conventional methods. This is evidenced by a significance value (sig.) of < 0.05 in the Mann-Whitney U-Test. Thus, it can be concluded that game-based interactive media influences student creativity and understanding regarding fractions and decimals at SDN Banyuajuh 5 Kamal
