In this work, we demonstrate a 100 kHz Yb-doped fiber chirped pulse amplification system based on a flexible 30/250 μm large mode area fiber. A chirped fiber Bragg grating is employed for pulse stretching and adjustable higher-order dispersion compensation, while the pulse energy and gain distribution are optimized stage by stage to limit nonlinear phase accumulation. The amplifier delivers up to 13 W before compression, and 10 W average power is obtained after a transmission grating compressor, corresponding to a pulse energy of 100 μJ. By experimentally fine-tuning the group delay dispersion and third-order dispersion around the nominal matching condition, the pulse is compressed to 147 fs, corresponding to a Gaussian peak power of approximately 0.64 GW. The output beam maintains near-diffraction-limited quality with M2 = 1.14 × 1.16. These results demonstrate an effective route toward high-energy, sub-200 fs fiber chirped pulse amplification sources at hundred-kilohertz repetition rates.
